Community guidelines

Reviews, ratings, public lists and list notes are welcome. Honest opinions are fine, including harsh ones about a game. Keep the criticism about the game, not about other people.

If a review gives away story details, tick “Contains spoilers” so other people can choose whether to read it.

• Illegal content of any kind, including threats, terrorist content, child sexual abuse material, fraud, hate crimes, intimate images shared without consent, and offers to sell illegal items.
• Harassment, bullying, hate or abuse aimed at a person or group.
• Sexual content, graphic violence, or anything that encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
• Someone else’s private information, such as their address, phone number or real name without permission.
• Spam, scams, advertising, your own affiliate links, or links that mislead people.
• Pretending to be someone else, or posting content you don’t have the right to share.
• Unmarked spoilers.

Every review and shared list has a Report button. Anyone can use it, with or without an account. Choose a reason and add a note if it helps. Reports are private: the person who posted the content is not told who reported it.

You can also email theplydex@gmail.com with a link to the content and what is wrong with it. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 or contact the police first.

We review reports, usually within 2 working days, and remove illegal content as quickly as we can once we are aware of it. Depending on what we find, we may delete a review, make a list private, or restrict an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules. Where the law requires it, we pass information to the police or other authorities.

If we remove your content, we will tell you why by email where we can, unless doing so would put someone at risk or break the law.

Email theplydex@gmail.com with “Complaint” in the subject if you think we removed your content or restricted your account by mistake, if you are unhappy with how we handled a report, or if you think we are not meeting our duties under the Online Safety Act. Tell us what happened and include any links.

We will confirm we have received it within 2 working days and aim to give you a full answer within 14 days. If we got it wrong, we will restore the content or lift the restriction. See our terms of use for the full rules, and our privacy policy for how we handle reports.
